Dr Franziska Schrodt

Board Member

Franziska is an Associate Professor of Earth System Science at Nottingham University (UK).

Much of her lab’s work focuses on improving our understanding of the threat climate change and anthropogenic drivers pose for bio- and geodiversity, and on finding nature-based solutions to mitigate these threats.

Franziska leads four international cross-disciplinary working groups on improving biodiversity data access and coverage globally and on defining drivers of biodiversity change across ecosystems. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, public outreach outlets, and scientific books.
