Dr Grace O’Donovan

Grace is an independent ecological consultant and former academic. She has over 40 years’ experience as a plant ecologist, completing EIAs for large infrastructure projects, and habitat mapping around the world using GIS and remote sensing. She has also worked for 20 years on protected species in relation to developments, particularly bats. Grace currently specialises in measuring Biodiversity Net Gain on rewilding sites in England and Scotland. She has developed novel techniques for maximising data collection and reporting, to provide robust evidence for Biodiversity Net Gain.
